The room also had a dining area, so I could have meals in the comfort of my own space. And the tea/coffee maker was a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a hot beverage in the morning.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like about the room. It was just right for me.

The breakfast is absolutely extraordinary, and the peaceful location in the midst of nature makes it incredibly romantic. Plus, the proximity to the best sunsets in Portugal is just a short drive away. Initially, I was a bit worried about the remote location, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable and special places I've stayed. Highly recommend staying for at least 2-3 nights!

While everything about my stay was fantastic, one minor drawback was that the toilet could have been better isolated for added privacy. But honestly, with the incredible experience overall, this was a small issue in comparison.

We had a fantastic stay at Hortas do Rio! The location in Carrapateira is perfect for exploring Aljezur and the south west coast. The proximity to Bordeira's beach and Amado beach was a huge plus. The mountain bike rentals and horse riding offered by Felipe were a great way to explore the region. The brand new beach hut-style rooms were beautifully furnished and cozy, with comfortable beds and nice bedding. Despite the colder November weather, the heating kept us warm. The delicious breakfast served on the sunny terrace with mountain views was a wonderful start to the day.
